If you are looking to guest post on influential blogs in your niche, make sure you know the blog you’re pitching to. Study their content and see what kind of posts they like, provided they accept blog posts (not all blogs accept guest posts, so do your due diligence and research).

Always use the keywords, Brand name and Links in the guest posts. Keep the content informative and engaging. Guest posts not only help in building links but also provides information about your company and aid in web traffic.

2. Find Co-Marketing Partners

If you want to get the maximum number of links with little effort is to partner up with other companies in co-marketing. That way, with each new guest post which you write, you can mention a few partners of yours. When your partners create guest posts – they mention you as well.

With this simple arrangement, you can get 4-5 links for the price (and effort) of just one, as long as you keep your promises.

3. Create an affiliate Program

If you can create a customized affiliate link (using UTM parameters to track), then you can get a TON of deep-links to products or services pages, which is the dream of many SEOers.

My best way to build links for free is to capture or design industry-relevant quality pictures. We usually search for good images on Google, but only the premium ones fulfill our requirements. So we create industry relevant royalty free images and make the only requirement for people to link back to your website. Clever isn’t it?
